Sarasota County Technical Institute's Placement Service works to meet the employment needs of the local business community and SCTI students. It is designed to specifically identify job opportunities for both current students and graduates of SCTI programs. � Assists students in obtaining employment in their chosen or related occupations, or any available position which will help students with financial support while they are attending SCTI.

� Serves as a liaison between the school and the business/ industry community by receiving and sharing employment information.

� Assists businesses in gaining access to a more educated and qualified workforce.

� Provides information on occupational outlook and wages.

� Facilitates placement of students with the job opportunities of the community.

� Provides individuals with information on employability skills.
