 National Vocational-Technical Honor Society recognizes students
for their achievements, leadership and citizenship skills, and are
nominated by their instructor. Nominees must meet ALL of the following
criteria:
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:
- Must be enrolled in a program that is at least 450
hours in length.
- Must have completed 75% of the program hours
(i.e., 675 hours of a 900 hour program).
- Must have a maximum of 5 EXCUSED absences
per quarter of current school year.
- Must have no UNEXCUSED absences.
- Must have a 90% grade point average in their
technical studies
- Must have outstanding employability skills.
ADULT STUDENTS:
- Must be enrolled in a program of at least 450
hours in length.
- Must have completed 75% of program hours (i.e., 675
hours of a 900 hour program).
- Must have a maximum of 7 absences per
trimester of their course of study.
- Must have 90% grade point average in their
technical studies.
- Must have outstanding employability skills.
