Do you need a lot of credits to achieve your high school diploma?

If you said YES, the General Educational Development (GED)  may be just what you are looking for!

The GED PREP program offers classes to prepare students to take the GED examination.  Students who successfully complete the GED examination are awarded a state of Florida high school diploma.

Anyone who is 16 years of age or older and officially withdrawn from high school is eligible to attend.

This course includes the study of five subject areas covered on the GED examination...

  1. Mathematics

  2. Language Arts/Reading

  3. Social Studies

  4. Science

  5. Language arts/Writing

Diagnostic tests are used to assess each student’s academic level in these 5 areas.

After this determination has been made, prescriptive materials are used to focus the individualized instruction and correct any academic deficiencies that have been indicated.

The curriculum is competency-based allowing students to progress at their own speed.

When the coursework shows that a student is ready to take the GED exam, he/she can then register for the test.
