FFA (a national organization of agriculture students) is an
integral part of SCTI's agribusiness programs. Students are encouraged to
participate in the many local, state, and national activities which
include livestock judging, ornamental horticulture contests, and
leadership development competitions.
These activities are designed to promote leadership skills, personal
growth, and career success. Members lend their support to community
efforts through a variety of programs designed to develop civic pride and
awareness.
The Sarasota VoAg FFA Chapter has won numerous state and
national awards for these programs.
