TECH TOTS
 Tech
tots Preschool is a laboratory training center for high school and adult
students in the Early Childhood Education Program at SCTI. The high
school and adult students work with the preschool children while under
teacher supervision. The students provide a variety of age appropriate
activities to the children.
The training curriculum follows the Florida Department of Education
guidelines for child care training. The program has been a model for
training preschool teachers and classroom aides since 1977. The
Preschool is licensed by the Sarasota County Health Department with a
capacity of 50 children (License # 58-51-00109).

ADMISSIONS
The requirements for preschool admission are as follows:
- Provide an up-to-date immunization record.
- Complete a physical examination record.
- Must be 3 to 5 years of age.
HOURS
Tech Tots Preschool hours are Monday - Friday: 7:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The day includes a morning snack and an afternoon snack. The Tech
Tots preschool calendar coincides with the Sarasota County School District
calendar.
