Building Construction Technology
will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2008
at 6:30 p.m. in the SCTI Cafeteria in Building 5.
ORIENTATION
For High School students enrolled in the
Drafting Program
will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.
in Building 7 in
Room 701.
High school students in grades 10, 11, and 12
(minimum age
is 16 or turn 16 within school year) may attend Sarasota County Technical
Institute and earn credits toward graduation. Tuition fees and books are
free. Some programs require laboratory fees, uniform costs, supplies, or
equipment.
High school students may choose from the following SCTI programs and enter
the program (if space is available) in August or January.

career counselor. High school counselors can also provide information.
Transportation
is provided to high school students.
School District buses bring high school students to the campus. Other
students may use the SCAT bus or a personal vehicle. Students who drive
their personal vehicles to school must purchase parking decals and are expected to abide by campus rules
while driving and parking on the campus.
