PROGRAM LENGTH The program is approximately 9 months (900 hours) long. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 2:15 pm.
ENTRANCE/EXIT REQUIREMENTS Reading, math, and language competencies are pre-assessed. The required basic skills grade levels for this program are Reading-9, Math-10, and Language-9 and must be met prior to program completion.

This program prepares you for entry into the computer electronics field in a variety of positions ranging from technical help desk to computer service and repair technician.
- Learn to build, diagnose, repair, upgrade, configure, and maintain PC computer systems.
- Gain experience using diagnostic equipment common to the electronics industry.
- Prepare to earn your CompTIA A+ certification as Information Technology Essentials, including PC Hardware & Software is incorporated into the training. You'll access the online modules, work on teams to complete the labs, and build computers.
- Develop skills in using Windows and Linux operating systems.
