PROGRAM LENGTH The program takes about 1 ½ years (1800 hours) to complete. Automotive Service Technology 1: 1050 hrs. Technology 2: 750 hrs. Class times vary.
ENTRANCE/EXIT REQUIREMENTS Student's competency in math, language, and reading is pre-assessed. Required basic skills grade levels are: Reading-9; Math-10; and Language-9 and must be met by program completion.

- Accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (N.A.T.E.F)
- Designated as a satellite training facility for AC Delco
- Part of a two-year A.S. degreed program called ATEP (Automotive Technical Education Program), through a partnership with area automotive dealers, and independent auto repair facilities (The program has a full articulation with Manatee Community College.)
