The Sarasota Criminal Justice Academy Recruit Training Program
prepares students to enter law enforcement or correctional careers.

	Correctional Officer [Adult] Corrections Cross-over to Law Enforcement[Adult] Law Enforcement Officer [Adult]

The Corrections Cross-over to Law Enforcement program, prepares corrections officers to enter the field of law enforcement.

These programs are under the auspices of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and are certified by both the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission and the Florida Department of Education.

Upon successful completion of a program and passing the state certification examination, students qualify to apply for positions as a law enforcement or corrections officers with county, municipal, and state agencies.
