Technical Programs Admission

If you are interested in enrolling* in one of SCTI's technical programs as an adult (you must be at least 16 years of age and not enrolled in high school), please follow these steps...

1. Call (941) 924-1365 x62286 to schedule an appointment with a career counselor to discuss information about SCTI programs and enroll.
   
2. Complete an SCTI application. Programs leading to licensure and certification require additional information.**
3. Pay the $45 non-refundable application fee.
4. Take the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) assessment test.
   PLEASE NOTE: If you have earned an Associate of Arts or higher degree, you are exempt from taking the TABE. If you are enrolling in Law Enforcement, you will take the FBAT instead of the TABE.)  Click here for Test Center location, contact info and hours.
