Applied Academics for Adult Education (AAAE)

Are you interested in an SCTI technical program, but aren’t sure you have the skills to succeed? Have you taken the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), but need to improve your score to meet a technical program requirement?  If so, the Applied Academics for Adult Education (AAAE) program might be just for you.

Teachers in the AAAE program help you with basic skills (reading, math, and language), academic skills that you might need for a specific program (advanced math, science, social studies) and skills that will help you find a good-paying job (job-seeking, resume writing, and interviewing). All work is self-paced with teachers working with students on a one-on-one basis.

Guidance counselors are also available to help you decide which SCTI programs are right for you.

Class Fee

• $45 per semester for Florida residents
• $180 per semester for Non-Florida residents
